I am paying for Amazon Prime through my O2 account but I don't have it in my Amazon account. It is offering me a 30day free trial.

How can I access the Amazon Prime I am paying for through O2 in my Amazon account?

Also, it says on O2's website that this Amazon Prime subscription can be cancelled any time but on MyO2 it says that this extra is for a 6 month minimum term.

Very disappointed and annoyed to be paying for for a service I cannot use, compounded by not being able to cancel it. Poor show O2.

Yes, there seems to be contradictory information regarding this O2 Extras Prime offer. I've signed up under the impression that I could cancel it anytime but now appeared to be locked in for six months albeit at a slightly reduced price.

Some clarification would be welcome. Thank you.

I signed up this morning but can't see the cancel or removal option for my Prime Extra.

Yes it says in the Terms and Conditions for the Extra that the minimum term is 6 months

It can taker 24 to 48 hours for the option to set the cancellation at the end of the minimum term..

No you cant, as soon as you click start then it starts for 6 months, I would read the terms and conditions.

OK - thanks.

Still think the T&Cs are misleading though.

If you consider that the T&Cs are misleading, I suggest that you consider making a formal complaint :-

How to Complain | Help | O2

https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Customer+Complaints+code+250523.pdf (o2.co.uk)

https://www.o2.co.uk/documents/456036/4246828/Customer+Complaints+code+250523.pdf

Your complaint will give O2 the opportunity to ensure that the T&Cs are transparent, so please clearly articulate why you believe that they are misleading in their current form.

Thanks for the links.

I don't appear to be only person for whom this may cause confusion as I posted about this in the MoneySavingExpert forums and a repondent there interpreted the 6 month mimimum term I highlighted in the T&Cs above as referring to a minimum O2 contract length.
