I’ve been using airtime rewards for around a year with no issues but when I put my mobile number in now I’m getting a message “The number you have entered is not a valid O2 phone number”. I have checked I am inserting the correct number.

You will need to speak to Airtime Rewards, as they are a seperate entity to o2.
