Accessing phone records over 2 years

Anonymous
Not applicable
I need to access my phone call records to and from specific phone number to evidence a contact in 2010 for a court hearing. O2 have advised they only hold records for 2 years. Is there any way I can get a copy of my phone bill from 2010 or just get a record off all calls made to and from my number to this specific number?

If O2 don't have it it's unlikely you'll get it from anywhere else.....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi

We are all Customers here like you so you're going to have to accept o2's Official explanation.

Their is this route http://www.o2.co.uk/help/everything-else/how-to-get-a-copy-of-the-information-we-store-about-you#qs but only gives certain info.

Can I ask a question related to this. In the Subject to Access link it says

"Applications must be typed and signed by applicant on headed paper and include your client's name and full address, mobile number and the date range you wish us to cover. Call records can only be provided from the date of registration onwards.

Does this mean from registration of the account , ie when it was opened up ? Sorry if I've mis interpreted this part. 😔

In a nutshell, the two years have passed so you will no longer have that information

Subject to access forms only apply to pay and go, so it's expected that there's no details on the "account", so O2 ask for the forms to be filled in, that way we have a formal request with proper account information. registration is when you have supplied your personal details to O2, or registered your name  and address. This is  proof of ownership. If you haven't done this then you need the original proof of purchase or  your request will not be actioned.
