Just had a Phonecall from a Indian chap, saying that a upgrade has been made on my number under a different email address and number. Said he can send me a code to reset my account and block that said order, or he can block my account tonight and go into store with Id tomorrow, with all the stuff happening I said I'd rather go into store and do it. He told that it was fine and to just take id and that notes will be on the system what's happened, but my account would be blocked until I go into tomorrow.
Just checked on my app which I can log into still and says I am available for an upgrade? Nothing about one has been made etc. Was that an attempt of a scam? I am still going to go in tomorrow and check what has happened but something just didn't feel right. I asked if he can prove he's from 02 with all the scams going around and his reply was 'how would you like me to prove' after that my alarm bells were just ringing constant. Anyone else had the same call?
