i was in france in the summer and my o2 iphone roamed onto EE where i picked up 3g, my bro came over who's contract is with EE, he got solid 4g access from them, why was EE 4g not available to me?

Because o2 don’t have any 4g roaming agreements in place except for some business tariffs.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Obviously doesn't help with France @MI5, however I believe there is now a 4G roaming agreement in place with Telefónica Germany which has been rolled live over the past couple of weeks. 

 

Hopefully the start of more 4G roaming availability across Europe and other major destinations. slight_smile
