Want people calling me to hear out of office type greeting but then stop them leaving vm message

I'm going away on holiday and would like clients who call me to be able to hear a message saying that I'm unavailable and will be back in the office of such and such a date etc but if it's an emergency to send me a text message. How can I do this and disable the facility for them to leave a voicemail message. If I just change my usual greeting I will still have to listen to all the messages, when in actual fact I just want to deal with the emergencies and not have to listen to all the voicemails.

Unfortunately I have to be available for emergencies whilst I'm away.

All you can do is ask them not to leave a message unless it's an emergency.
You cannot leave a greeting without having my turned on fully.
