Boostbox terrible signal at home

Anonymous

Afternoon, I have terrible mobile 3g voice signal at home and wonder if anyone knows if the O2 boostbox is available for consumers as yet? Or if there is an alternative product on the market that will work.

Thanks

Not sure about the 2g signal, not sure how to do that. Any help/advise would be appreciated.

Goto Settings >Mobile Data >Network Mode and if available, select GSM Only.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi.

No It's only for business customers.

I don't see it being released to contract customers to be honest.

Have you thought about what's app or viber as alternatives ?

The network is being improved and should be done by 2017 or if your not locked into a contract a drastic option would be to use a PAC code and move to a network that offers better signal where you live , work and commute (test the alternatives via a payg sim for a week or so)

The only thing that would be available to you, if you're not a business customer, would be the TuGo app, but only if you are on a Pay Monthly contract, and only if your phone is compatible.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I really don't see why O2 are not allowing customers to buy a boost box if they want one seems a bit stupid to me

I agree with damien1 on this. Vodafone recognise the issues with signal and produced the Sure Signal box that plugged into your home broadband.

When I had it before (given free as in poor signal area) it was fine. Didn't miss a call or text.

So come on o2. Where your signal is poor then this could be a solution because Tu Go certainly isn't viable in its current form.

O2 have stated many times in the past that it will not be available for anyone on a regular consumer tariff. The tech just isn't compatible and Voda have no end of problems with their's too.
