£50 call charge

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi recently I had to call 02 many times in order to get a refund prossed correctly, as every time I called the refund never went through. However now I have just got my bill and have been charged nearly £50. Unfortunately I am not and o2 contact holder. Any ideas about what I can do, What was the point in getting a refund if they where just going to charge me it all back?

The number you should have called which would have been free is 0344 8090202.
Sorry, but there is nothing O2 can do - you need to take this up with your network.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

As you are not an o2 customer were you not aware of what your provider charged for calls outside your bundle ?

I guess this was for the accessories that you talked about in your other thread

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

If you called them outside of your allowances then I'm afraid you'll have to pay

O2 haven't charged you - your current network has, so you need to speak to them about it I guess?

@Anonymous O2 sets their charges & so it's up to them. Unlimited means set allowance between your network & people on the same network, not your network to an o2 number

@Anonymous Not quite true Hence why I asked what o2 number was dialled the op says an 020 well all 01 02 03 numbers are included in peoples tariffs regardless of network . an o2 shortcode should not work like 202 from an non o2 mobile.
