02 Insurance: your iPhone is on its way back to you

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi all,

I recently made an insurance claim on my iPhone as it has become damaged and requires repair or replacement. I understand 02 insure no longer repairs and only replaces and I have been verbally told over the phone the claim has been accepted and a new phone has been dispatched.

I have just recieved a text to say ''[my] iPhone is on its way back to [me]'' which makes it sound like they've declined my claim and are posting me back my old phone? Can anyone clarify or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Much appreciate any help.

I'd read that as your "new iPhone" is on it's way back to you.

@Anonymous As we are all customers here too, the best we can do is speculate along with you as to what will arrive. Probably best to wait, but please come back and update us when you get your mail. slight_smile

That's ok guys! I love speculating. I'm hoping I'm reading it wrong and they are going to send me the new/reman phone, as I'm struggling with a samsung brick at the moment as a loan phone and it's driving me up the wall!
