nokia n8 keeps acting slowly

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello Peeps

I have a nokia n8 and its started to act slowly, like if you are having a text convo with some one when you press the reply button it takes forever to change to the message screen, its not just on messaging it could be on anything, it does it also if there are apps open or not.

Forgot to mention that sometimes when someone rings me it goes straight to answer message even with a good signal, to solve this I have to restart the phone. This is annoying as I don't know someone has tried ringing until I see them or they send me a text as they still work.

Anyone had this and what was the solution?

Thanks Glenn

Press down the power button for 8 seconds.
Restore the factory settings by selecting Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone management > Factory settings > Restore.

Try backing up and doing a factory reset. Probably loads of misaligned files in the OS causing it to run slowly.

If you are talking about doing the *#7370# I've done this but its still slow but not as, and it soon starts playing up again.
