Is this a new phone?

Has it been working if not has your sim been activated?

What tariff do you have and is data included?

Have you got the Network Set Up app on your phone?

What did you have for breakfast this morning? slight_smile

Wifi connection is totally different from your 3G connection and will work independently. Try texting ACTIVE to 2020 and saving the settings. Then reboot the phone.

or download the network settings app if not already installed. Open the app and choose the correct O2 settings for your account.

Maybe your best option is to visit your local O2 store.
