You can check in My O2 if it's removable but if not just call customer service.

BBM is an app.
Just log out of it or delete it if on a non Blackberry device.

This is true, but if @Anonymous is using an old legacy BlackBerry device, he will still be using BIS and so will be being charged for the privelege.

 

However cancelling BIS on an account will mean that the BlackBerry will lose internet access and the ability  to send and recieve emails.

 

If it is on a newer BB10, John can indeed just delete BBM from the phone.
