I've just upgraded from a blackberry torch to an iphone and I've cleared all my data from the blackberry except for my email addresses. Gone into email ac management and it says my connection to the mobile network is turned on but I'm not in a wireless coverage area and won't let me go any further. I can't put the sim back in as I had to change to a microsim for the iphone. Any ideas?

Hi Jean.
Once you have moved from a Blackberry to an iPhone you no longer have the required data plan to access BlackBerry services (your internet plan for BBM, Email etc).
Even putting your iPhone SIM back into your Blackberry with an adapter will not allow you to connect to the email server.
You will still be able to access the internet via the BlackBerry browser but that is all.
You are best off security wiping your BlackBerry and if you need a seperate device to get your email on get a new Pay & Go SIM card for it.

What is it you are trying to do on the BlackBerry now you have "upgraded" to an iPhone? Are you just trying to wipe it so there is no data belonging to you on it?
if this is the case, as @version7point0 has mentioned, your best bet is to do a security wipe of the phone which will remove all data.
To perfrom a security wipe:
1. Go to Options
2. Security Options
3. General Settings
4. Click Menu button
5. select Wipe Handheld
6. type in blackberry to proceed
