I have purchased a Samsung watch from argos

It's a cellular version

Because I did not purchase phone from o2 directly they are refusing to let me use the watch with my plan

Surely this is unfair

Have a read of this. A quick glance and I can't see a restriction. But I've not had time for a full read

https://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/mobile/samsung-watch-airtime-plan-terms

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

There's no restrictions regarding the place you purchased it from, but you have to go into an O2 store to set it up.

Guide here Guide: Connecting your Samsung Smartwatch

Bull**** Try a different store who knows what they're doing.

As above, it cannot be done on  the phone to O2.

It MUST be done in store by following the steps in the guide I posted above.

@Chris_K

Is this a policy change or just poorly trained store staff?
