You will probably have to change to a micro or nano sim depending on the model you get. If you are asking if you can use your present contract then yes, just change the Blackberry bolt on to the iphone bolt on via customer service.

You can normally upgrade one month before your present contract expires. If you have more than one month remaining you would have to pay off your minimum term before you can upgrade.
You could sell your phone and put the proceeds towards paying up your contract if you wish to upgrade early.

I am confused, I heard from others when i last posted my message that i could upgrade my blackberry to an iphone and use the same sim and contract.
I don't think anyone here said that?
You were asking about October.

If you go into a shop saying you want to upgrade your current phone then yes, you would need to buy yourself out of the current one/start a new one. Now if you just said you wanted to buy a payg iphone, then you could do that and do as the others have suggest by swapping your sim & BB to one compatible with an iphone.
Thus you keep bascially the same contract till October. In other words you can't just change phones part way through a contract without incurring costs.
