Hello,
I have Nokia Lumia 610 running WP7.8 on O2 PayAndGo.
In the last week I have been unable to send or receive texts.
Can anyone suggest what the problem may be?

Hi Cleoriff,
I can see you put a lot of effort into that, but I'm afraid it all goes pear-shaped at bullet 3 ... on my phone there is no "Cellular + SIM" or "Mobile + SIM".
There is "Mobile Network" and there is "SIM" but neither look like your screen-grabs. Also, there's nothing to do with "Cellular" presumably as it's an English phone.

Cellular data/network is a US term meaning mobile data/network in English

OK, I've got "Mobile Network", and I set "Data Connection" to on, but there is no "SIM Settings" there.
However, at the bottom of "Mobile Network" is "Edit APN", which opens to give some settings for payandgo.o2.co.uk, but nothing for MMS.
Ref the note in bullet 5, I looked for "Access Point", but that isn't on my menu.
Not having much luck, am I?

Hi John I posted the screen grab only to show that APN could be edited on Windows phones APN means Access Point Name by the way...
If you read the full link I posted earlier that actually gives you all the info?

Sorry, I missed that link.
However, it doesn't help as I have none of that on my phone ... it begins ...
1. Tap Menu.
2. Tap Configuration.
3. Tap Personal settings.
4. Tap Options.
...none of which is on my phone.

Is the phone running windows 8 or 8.1?
Whatever the answer I am a bit stumped now John. I have googled a number of responses and been on the Nokia forums....they all give the same answers as mine......
I think the best advice I can offer is to ring CS in the morning and ask them to turn MMS off on your account (As suggested by MI5 earlier) Sorry I couldn't help more

Right, just spotted the Windows Phone 7.8 instructions ... but they mention MMS settings, which don't appear on my phone, so I can't follow them.
