Unable to make calls

Anonymous
Not applicable

For some reason I am unable to make calls. I can receive them, but am unable to dial out or go direct through my contacts list. Every call I try to make I receive the message: this number has not yet been assigned to a client.

The phone was fine until yesterday when I deleted my email messages as well as the account. My phone is not an Android, just an old fashioned Samsung with keyboard. I have removed the battery and sim, cleaned them and replaced them to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm pay as you go with plenty of credit. Had no problem until I deleted my email a/c.

Do you have Skype or anything like that installed? Exact phone model will help with troubleshooting.

Its a Samsung GT-B3210 and I don't have Skype on it. I didn't realise I had it synked with other phone and when it was swallowing up my credit downloading data, I deleted my email account and since then I can only receive but not make calls

I can't see any reason why deleting the email account would prevent you from making calls. Only thing I can think of doing is a master reset on the phone (PIN is 12345). Copy any phone numbers to your SIM if not on there already as you will loose them, you will also loose any pictures, video's etc so back them up to a PC first.
