Transferring Data from Nokia Lumia 930

Hi, I have just transferred from a Lumia 930 to a Lumia 1020. The contracts and some of the texts transferred OK however I am having immense difficulty moving all my OneNote entries into Dropbox. The share option is available but when I check Dropbox nothing is trasnsferred despite opening a new file in Dropbox. There is currently no sim in the phone so I have been trying to do this over wi-fi without success. I must be missing a trick somewhere and would really appreciate some step by step instructions please. Thank you.
