SMS opened/read comfirmation "R"

My BlackBerry 10 on O2 doesn't support SMS delivery report. So, I always put *0# code in front of my message. The tick changes to blue "D" as the message got to the receiver's network, but it doesn't change to "R" which the receiver opened/read the message. Does anyone know how to do to see "R".

I'm fairly sure you would still get the D even if someone blocks your number.

@MI5 You means that the delivery mark doesn't get to "D" from the tick? And I would see the RED "X"?

I've never tried what happens with a blocked text tbh but if you try and call a blocked number it just sounds like disconnected so I would assume the text wouldn't receive a delivered notification either.

I've just texted a blocked number with *10# and got a delivery report....

A bit pointless then if the sender thinks it's been delivered.

A network can only confirm delivery unfortunately so yes maybe a waste of time. Have to persuade my son now to unblock me!
