SIM NETWORK ISSUES

hi, my phone won't let me ring,text or use any dtaa even though i recently topped up £20. It keeps saying that the network has been deactivated and even when i check my o2 account online it says my current balance and tariff are unavailable and won't show it. other people can still ring and text me. please help.

You need to have made at least one chargeable call or text in the last 6 months to stay active otherwise if no calls or text from the sim after 6 months the sim then becomes deactivated

Try cleaning the sim card and switching the phone off/on.

Contact O2 if still a problem.

Take the sim card out of the phone and clean it gently with a dry cloth to remove any debris. Sometimes just removing it and putting it back in then rebooting your phone works as well..

Then I think you have to ring Customer Services and ask them for help?

Sounds like you are disconnected - when did you last use the sim to make a call?
