Contacted by "Phone Stop", part of Carphone Warehouse to renew my mobile contract.
How did they get my number "from O2" thats my mobile network.
Made verbal agreement for monthly charge.
Now want to cancel it as it's a bad deal. But can't get through to Phone Stop, continuous loop.
Carphone Warehouse put the phone down on me twicde when I said "unauthorised data sharing"
O2 say there's nothing they can do.
ALL 3 COMPANIES ARE PART OF THE SAME GROUP - SO THEY ARE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND.
What can I do - your advice please.

O2 share your data with all their trusted partners which you agreed to,maybe unknowingly, when you signed up for the original contract.
Personally I think it's wrong but by all means get some advice from CAB so you know what your rights are. You have 14 days to cancel unless you've been put on a business contract whereby your options would be limited.
