anybody have any news on the GDR3 up date......really gerring bored with the naff

message alert tones on my lumia 820

Lumia Black (which incorporates GDR3) has started to be released now.  You can get details of when its released for different devices via my other post:

At the moment, the 820 is listed as "Coming Soon".

At long last the GDR3 has arrived although it took some downloading. By now Lumia users should be able to download ok despite some earlier technical hitches. If any one is still struggling, I removed the battery, caounted to 10 and started from scratch and it worked first time. Could be good timing on my part but worth a try if you're having no luck. Brilliant having the personalised sms alert choice and like some of the new extras in "settings"

I just got the update on my 920 this morning before work.  I now need to play and set up personalised ringtones etc.
