O2 sim card in Blackberry 8520

Anonymous
Not applicable

Since I put my O2 sim card in my old Blackberry 8520, I have received daily messages on the screen telling me it will "Only" cost me £1 to use data on it today. The  only way to get the message off my screen is to hit the home button which probably activates the "OK" on your message. There does not appear to be a "No thanks" alternative!

I have no need to use data on this phone now and I have never done so since I put my O2 sim card in it.

However, I realise today, when you tell me I have used all my credit, that you must have been deducting £1 a day from my credit for nothing, basically.

I want you - O2 - to refund my money immediately before I make a complaint to Offtel about you.

Not at all happy,

SavvyScot.

Feel free to complain but you'll get no where. Your phone is using data because you have the data enabled on the handset. It's not anyone's fault but your own. Turn off data connection capability and you will not get charged. It really is that simple....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
