Re: O2 Boost Box

I am not sure if this is of help or not.  But I know O2 are set to bring out an App this month or next called TuGo.  This should work over wifi. From what I read, it will allow your phone or iPads, computers etc to make calls using your phone number.

The person you are phoning does not need to install the App either, instead it just comes up as your number.  This makes it better than Skype and other apps I feel.  Least thats what the comments, and reports I read about it said.  Maybe someone else on the forum knows more about it could confirm.

Re: O2 Boost Box

TuGo was supposed to be coming out later this year but I have to say that with O2's track record, it will probably be delayed. O2 Connect has been trialling around 2 years now and I have long since given up on that.

Hopefully TuGo will be released on time and by all accounts it is going to solve a lot of connection problems for a lot of customers.

It's how the pricing structure will work for TuGo that interests me.

Are you saying it's available for use now Adam?

Or is it being replaced/superceded by TuGo?

The O2 Connect app is no longer available on itunes.
