Anyone else in East Lothian, Scotland having problems with making or receiving calls? I have A Nokia 800 which has had a new sim card (worked for all of 5 mins) it has been back to the factory and reset. The loan phone I was given was also unable to make or receive calls. This has been going on for over month now. Getting a bit pointless having a phone if I am unable to actually make calls! O2 seem to think that the fault is with the sim
O2 say there was a mast problem a few weeks ago but it is now sorted. Tried a friend who is with O2 and she did not have a problem at my house. At the end of my patience now. Help!

Hi Jeannie60
Are you still in contract with 02 ?
I would suggest you fill out the unlock form https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form so you can be ready to switch Networks if your issues persist after the mast shows repaired.
Although its not a fix at least you could then also have the choice of inserting an alternative networks Sim card so at least you can make calls, send texts and access the Internet.
Not the ideal answer I know as your paying a monthly fee, but its an avenue to choose from.
