Is it the gold coloured prongs in the phone that are broken?

Not my fault though so why should I be out of pocket and without a phone?:( don't understand why they couldn't have sent a micro rather than a nano. It a bit different when it's your own phone I'm really cross with O2 there is no way you will get a cradle to slide in

I keep those adapters in when I'm wanting to make my nano sim to a micro or standard sim and as designed should work fine.

As I said if you go into the shop they hopefully will be able to assist. And move you to the correct sized account specific sized SIM card. So no need for the adapter.

If the gold prongs have broken off it's going to need a repair

We can only surmise if that's so.
