I am working away from home, my Lumia appeared to spontaneously freeze, I came into the room where it was charging and it was frozen, I managed to switch it off but now it will not switch back on

Try a reset.

  • With the Lumia turned off press POWER and VOLUME DOWN simultaneously
  • The Lumia should vibrate after a few seconds, release POWER
  • After 10 seconds release VOLUME, the Lumia may vibrate
  • Now switch the Lumia back on

If that fails it will have to go for repair.
