Hi, I purchased my Nokia Lumia 800 late last year, expecting the Windows Phone 7.8 update around the January 31st launch time. Today is the 24th of February. Nearly a month on, and I still haven't received the update. O2 said around a 2-3 week delay is expected, but if you have to wait any longer, tell them. So, I suppose I am here. I got the phone on PAYG (Pay as you go) but switched to a £10.50 a month simplicity contract. Whether this has anything to do with me not getting the upgrade, I don't know. I'd appreciate your help with this as it is kind of annoying expecting something that doesn't arrive - or arrives late.
Thanks a lot for your help,
John.

I had the same thing today! woke up, switched on & my Lumia 800 told me of an update. Whoop whoop i thought, new home screen extra colours etc but after the update nothing had changed
Really isnt a big issue for me as i love the phone as it is....but if your told something newer is 'on the way' its frustrating! heres to 7.8 whenever it turns up!

I too am still waiting for the update. It came up on my lumia a few days ago saying the update is available, but when I synced to the computer the update disappeared and was no longer available. I have even tried doing a factory reset on my phone incase something strange had happened and still no update. I am getting very tired of the promises of an update.
