Nokia Lumia 710 won't connect to internet

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

Recently got the Lumia 710.

However my Nokia Lumia 710 won't connect to internet unless through WiFi.

Data Connection is turned on.

Roaming is on.

Can receive messages and calls without any trouble.

Have tried it in a number of locations to see if it was signal strength but has ZERO internet signal in ANY location unless connecting through WiFi.

Any suggestions?

Go into the Nokia app store and download an app called Network connections (or something like that). This should auto load the correct apn's for your phone. If that's no good try texting the word "Active" to 2020 or as a last resort enter the apn's manually....

Thanks for your response. It is asking for my sender password. Where would I find this?

We've had the question re sender password before and I don't think we ever figured out the answer? Try 1234 or 0000 if that doesn't work its probably best to contact CS to get them to push the settings through. Also, just check you have data enabled in network settings.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I have not had a chance to get on.

The settings where updated as per the message to 2020, but the phone will still not connect to the internet outside of WiFi connection.

I have Data Connection set to On. Is there anaother setting I am missing to get this to connect to the internet?

Checkk in network settings under apn's that you have selected O2.

It doesn't give me a list of APN's to select. O2 is selected as my network and I have the option to Add an APN but I don't have any of the details required to add an APN.

Do I also leave the Proxy Server/URL & Proxy Port blank?
