All of a sudden the internet will not work on my phone. the internet obviously works as i can use my computer to type to yourself. I only purchased the phone from your O2 shop in Batley in the last couple of months. Do you have any idea as to why this is no longer working?

yes. what happened was my phone completly died. so i took the back off then took out battery and sim card then put back and it started, except the internet part?

Check your masts here http://status.o2.co.uk

Try texting ACTIVE to 2020, save the settings and turn the phone off and on.

Is their any internet icon such as 3G , e or GPRS etc in the phones status bar ?

Can you try your SIM card in another phone ?

Process of elimination.

Travel for £1.99 for 50mb daily limit for Payg and no upper limit for Pay Monthly. If you reach the daily limit on Payg then simply reset your Daily Allowance by Text for another £1.99. Text MORETRAVEL to 21300 to activate more data. If you don't your allowance will be automatically reset at midnight. There is also a handy O2 Travel app available for iOS and Android.

Check if you have Network app in your applications. That should restore the settings for you if you select O2-UK.
