Hi there,

I am currently on a 24mth contract, The contract phone was a sony xperia, I have recently changed that phone to a blackberry 9720, unfortunately it is not connecting to the internet or allowing me to sync my hotmail account. I've noticed the bb enterprise server and bb internet server are both not connected. Can anyone help.

Thanks

Do you have a BB bolt on and have you registered for the BB servers?

A phone call to O2 on 202 might be easier, they can switch you from normal data to Blackberry.

I would agree, call 202 and ask them to switch you to a blackberry tariff.

Once that is complete you need to register for BIS. Just follow the prompts and you'll be rocking in no time at all slight_smile

An easy way to tell if you have a connection to the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) is to look for the BlackBerry logo, 4 dots, next to the signal indicator in the top right corner.

If these arent visible then, as has been said above, you will need to make a short call to O2 and have the BlackBerry Bolt-On added to your account so you can send/receive emails, access the internet, BBM, etc on your Blackberry.
