Need contacts from broken blackberry, help!

I made a massive error in not saving my contacts on my blackberry 8520 to my sim. I lost it in a pub the other night and when I picked it up the next day it was completeley messed up. I put it in rice to dry it out and I have just switched it on. The screen is lit up but blotchy so I don't know if it is switched on or not. Is there ANY way I can retrieve my contacts?! The sim works fine and I am hoping the memory card does too. Pleeease help!

Try connecting to BB desktop software and see if you can back up the phone.....

Presuming you have not done so on this occasion ALWAYS use BlackBerry Protect on BB handsets. An excellent and free application by BlackBerry it is an great security tool as well as automatically backing up your contacts online providing you have set it up to do so. Previous back ups can also be downloaded to a new device. Good Luck.
