Moved form iphone 3G to lumia 520

Anonymous
Not applicable
Just made the change today, bought the lumia on eBay. Got my microsim from O2, inserted but no network coverage. Is the phone still locked possibly? All my wifi, email etc working nicely. Second problem is contacts migration, my old iphone 3G running iOS 6 says does not support the windows device when trying to pair using Bluetooth.

Any solutions for the above problems guys, much appreciated

Thanks in advance

You will need to use the swapmysim form to activate the new sim card http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/
For contacts you will need to back up to something like your gmail account and then import them onto the 520.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi,

Once your sim card has swapped {can take approx up to 24 hours} you may need to text ACTIVE to 2020. Save the return settings and re boot yourphone.

Bluetooth can only be used for headsets and not for transferring files etc.

Nokia have an app called "Transfer my Data" that says it works with iOS.

Worth giving a go if you haven't already.
