How do I get the Lumia 1020 ready to receive and possibly send mms.

I texted ACTIVE to 2020 but that didn't work.

You need data turned on too.

Phone O2 to have your account provisioned for mms and remember mms does not come out of your allowances. 35p for contract customers and 25p each for payg.

There are better alternatives such as iMessage , bbm , what's app and viber along with just be mailing !

Also when you save the settings from o2 reboot your phone. Turn off and on.

Its ok they work fine. I had the number I was sending to incorrect
