4g is the only cure I've found so far mate.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Yes I am gonna look into 4G tariffs. Recommend any good ones?

To be fair to o2, their 4g is very good, when you can find it. EE and Three have better coverage though.

I mainly go back and forth between London and the midlands every now and again so coverage won't be much of an issue. But I find o2 is a much better network. That's just my opinion

Test some PAYG sims from other networks and see what works best for you.
