You need to disable mobile data as you must have an app updating in the background using data. Data is charged at up to £1 a day on P&G.

i own a lumia 620,also getting charged £1.00 on pay as you go,had a update this week for phone and some apps,never been charged before,must be a app or setting changed on win dows phone,i dont top up every month but not had this charge before

You need either to switch off data or get a data bolt on.
