I have gone from using iPhone to Blackberry Torch 9800, but cannot get it to send/receive emails.

If memory serves me correct BB 9800 is an OS 7 device. and thus only supports BIS / BES email service..

You can try using this: not sure if it is still live, as you need to send a servicebook to your device

And create an account..
