I have just bought a Huawei E5577 and have put in an O2 PAYG SIm. It is a PAYG SIM for a mobile phone but I assume it is ok for these devices too. I have managed to connect my iPad and phone to this Huawei device ok but it says that it is not connected to the Internet despite having supposedly 7gb data and 4g network available. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?

You need a tablet and dongle sim, phone sims won't work.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
