Hi,

I'm currently on holiday in Spain and my Huawei E5573-320 will not connect to the 3G network. I know there is a 3G network here as both my and my wife's iPhones are picking up full strength 3G.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here? We recently used it back in the UK and it worked fine. We had the same issue earlier in the year when we went to Croatia.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

You cannot use the data abroad I’m afraid.

Yes unfortunately it’s another of o2’s bizarre rules.
I’ve got 8gb on my phone that I can use and 1gb on a tablet that I can’t.
Apologies for the fat thumbs in the first post too.

Chrisymon, yes, I’ve got a whopping 25gb sat waiting to be used but as MI5 has said, I can’t use it while abroad! Annoyed is not the word but as I said, I’ll be making a visit to my O2 shop when I get back home as I’ve been miss-sold this product.

It's absolutely shocking when they don't understand the their own T&Cs of their own products. Ridiculous actually!
