I currently have a blackberry curve 9320 on pay as you go and for some reason just recently the phone wont recognise the sim card it comes up on the screen saying "initialisation failed" sos I have tried many times taking the battery and sim out and reseting the phone but does not want to seem to work. Please can someone tell me what i need to do to get it working and if I need to send it away?

Try getting an O2 shop to take a look at it for you, they can send it for repair if necessary.

Have you checked for network problems : O2 Service Status
Try resetting the phone by using the following key sequence: alt, right shift, del.
It's possible the sim or the phone has developed a fault. Are you able to try the sim in another phone?
You could try a hard reset but this would remove all your data and settings and return it to factory condition.
Are you able to pop into the O2 store who will bve able to check the phone and sim for you?
