Help setting up My old Nokia 6700 Classic to use with My o2 sim (configuration settings)?

I need help getting My phone online to be able to use it with My o2 sim,  any advice greatly appreciated

Is is a 14 year old handset, and it uses 3G , and the configuration settings services have all been closed... 

 

You will need to fit these onto your phone:

  • Name: o2 Internet
  • APN: mobile.o2.co.uk (PAYG: payandgo.o2.co.uk)
  • Username: o2web (PAYG: payandgo)
  • Password: password
  • MMSC: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
  • MMS Proxy: 82.132.254.1
  • MMS Port: 8080
  • Authentication type: PAP
  • APN type: If you're given a choice of options, pick internet+mms
  1. Select Menu > Save
  2. Choose the name that we have just created
  3. To check that everything is working well, look at where you signal bars are and check if there is 4G, 3G, H, E or G

You may find you need a new SIM or a SIM adapter if you are going to use a SIM you already use

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

As I said the phone is 14 years old, so the only advice we can give you is what I have already provided, Reddit or Google is going to be your best friend... 

 

There is nothing else anyone on here can do to help you...

You could try texting the word ACTIVE to 2020.

Alternatively, if you tell us what the configuration settings are asking for, we can try to fill in the blanks for you.
