HTC Windows 8x - poor phone quality

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I have a 2 month old HTC windows 8x phone (in purpley blue), and already the phone looks worse for wear. All 4 corners of the soft outer layer of plastic have worn down to reveal the blue plastic shell of the phone. The same can be said of the usb connector at the bottom of the phone.

The screen is full of scratches already! Worse than my blackberry ever got in 2 and 1/2 years of using that! The paint is also starting to chip off volume buttons, power button and the sim card compartment.

Is there anything that can be done about this? If not, I warn others away from this poor quality phone!

Sounds very poor. I'd be inclined to contact HTC and see if it's a widely reported problem.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Dont have the new version of this (mine is the HD7) but not happy either.  From being given totally wrong advice from the so called 'guru' to now missing out on a free app that I need for my work because it doesnt come in a windows version (as with most worthwhile apps I have to say), and I cant upgrade any earlier than about 2 days after the offer of the free app goes out!!!  I have been with O2 for years......wont be after this contract runs out I can tell you.  My only choices now are either to buy an android phone (dont like iphones) or end up paying for the app.......thanks for your  loyalty Mrs Bell!! NOT
