Hi Found my old Nokia phone model 6210 - Charged it up - switched  on  - looks ok but message says no network coverage - It was/is a pay as you go chip on board - can't connect to top up or anything ?

Any advice please  ? Hopefully not  that is not based on scrapping the phone :

Sim will have been disconnected. Just order a new sim and away you go

No need to scrap the phone if it's still working

Lots of 6210's in absolutely mint condition stuck in Mercedes cars from that time. Still rock solid battery too lol

Just remember you need to make a chargeable call or text every 6 months and top up every 999 days (this figure has been handed down by folklore but I've never seen it written anywhere.....  )
