Can't connect to chat

Anonymous
Not applicable

For the last couple of days my texts are not being received and incoming texts are taking an age to come in. When I go to Messaging on my phone (Nokia Lumia - Windows 7) I receive the message "Can't connect to chat" Is this an O2 issue or down to my phone? I've switched the phone on and off several times without success.

Any help/advice much appreciated.

Sounds like a network issue - check your postcode here http://status.o2.co.uk/

I tried that - but o2 reports no issues. I've sent feedback to say I'm experiencing issues but O2 don't respond to individual feedbacks.

I would report it as there's a chance they don't know, have you tried it in a different location?

If all else fails do a soft reset and see if it helps (Hold power + vol down until phone vibrates).

It certainly sounds like a network issue. Have you tried cleaning the sim and rebooting the phone? It's the first thing customer service will ask you to do.
