You will have to contact customer service. It depends how long ago it was deactivated. If the original number was replaced by a new number, due to spam etc, it's very unlikely you will be ale to get it back now. However if you mean you still have the original number and sim card it's possible.

If its recent ring cs on 202 contract or 4445 payg asap and they may be able to do this for you.
If its a while ago the number may have been recycled..
