I have lived in my house for over a year and never experienced any problems with my blackberry before but since this weekend, whenever I am inside or even in the garden I have serious problems with sending/recieving messages.
Signal bars stay full the entire time, but the device switches between 'edge' - 'EDGE' - 'gprs' - 'GPRS'. It usually then ends up on EDG - but is either unable or very slow to send texts, BBMs and I am not able to connect to mobile internet. The arrow that appears in the top right corner that usually is there when a message is being sent just flashes rapidly then disappears.
When I go outside and walk around 100m down the road, the problem seems to go away.
I have spoken to advisors on here for about 3 hours yesterday but got nowhere, if anyone has any idea to help I would be very grateful.
Thanks

Then ring o2 202 on pay monthly and say you think there is a fault and describe what is happening.

It may be a new fault and need reporting to o2 if you used to get 3g at your location.
