Blackberry Torch 9800 Sim Card Problem

Anonymous
Not applicable

It just won't read my o2 Sim Card.  I stuck in a Sim Card Adapter with a Micro Sim to make it a Standard Sim but it wouldn't come out.  So a guy the o2 Shop Managed to get it out.  He swapped the Sim Card but now i reckon the Sim Reader is Broken.   How much would it cost to get fixed.  Even though he may of broken it.

Quoted £25 from O2 Online Chat help guy,

An online chat giving estimates? Not too sure I would trust that as a guide to what Anovo will be estimating.

About £25 at your local phone repairer. Sure you didn't break it ramming it in wink ?

Certainly sounds like a phone issue but the problem you will have is proving O2 broke it (after all you took it into shop not working). Maybe easiest to just take it to a local repairer. Probably bent pins on the reader - may not even need replacing....
