Blackberry Curve error loosing all photos and vid''s

I went to use my Blackberry curve yesterday and an error message was on the screen so switched it off then rebooted it, the screen saver picture has dissapeared and all my photos and videos have dissapeared can any one help.

o2 customer services said it was a fault with Blackberry even though i was not connected to the web???

Did you save the photos and video to the curve or to the storage card in the device?

I assume to the bold as my wife uses it most of the time

Blackberry devices save everything to the device, the Curve has no cloud backup for photos or videos...
