Blackberry Curve 9320 Question

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm considering buying a  Blackberry Curve 9320 on O2 From Phones 4 U and wondered if the Blackberrys Device PIN is pre-registered with the O2 Blackberry Service as I'll be using it with my Sim from Giffgaff?

AFAIK no, they don't come pre registered, however, things do change so someone with a recent experience may know for sure. In the past, with O2 at least, you have to register yourself.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

It is allocated when you register so if you register with your GG SIM you will get a PIN allocated then.

@MI5 I take it the Device PINs no longer come pre-assigned to Blackberry anymore then, as the PIN for my Curve 8520 was pre-assigned and I had to get it de-registered from the T-Mobile service to use it with the GG Service?

Ok thanks for that.  I can now buy with confidence that I'll not have to do any extra work to use it on GG.
