Blackberry 9800 moving slow and freezing

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have had my BB tORCH 9800 for 12 months now and over the last 12months it has become progressivley worse, it constantly freezes with a timer, i have checked for upgrades and always make sure it has the relevant software, i have even gone as far as removing all apps downloaded from BBWorld so as to free memory and have a 8gb memory card in there, is/has anyone else experienced this?

Mine occasionally slows, and on a handful of occasions has frozen.

Standard procedure for almost any BlackBerry mischeif is to remove the battery for 10 or so seconds, then replace.

There is also an excellent app called Quick Pull which will simulate a battery pull and restart having cleared the memory. Depending on the severity of your problem, you can even set this to happen at night, so both you and BlackBerry wake up fully refreshed and ready for the day ahead in the morning!

Hope this helps

If Goatsbreath advice doesn't cure the problem it might be worthwhile turning off auto compression. There has been lots of discussion over in the Crackberry forums where it has worked for some but not others. Let us know how you get on.
